Another special interest of mine is assessment and treatment specifically for dizziness and balance problems which can arise from central (brain) or peripheral (nerve and inner ear) problems.
I provide a comprehensive vestibular assessment followed by appropriate
treatment and recommendations.
I have had the opportunity of on the job training in vestibular rehabilitation as the sole physiotherapist in a busy concussion clinic in Christchurch, New Zealand as well as attending a workshop on vestibular rehabilitation here in Vancouver, BC.

I then design a therapeutic yoga program based on your individual needs. The program can be done as a home based program (within 1-2 sessions) or can be done as an ongoing one to one guided treatment session with home exercises provided.
I combine traditional physiotherapy with yoga asana and breathing/relaxation techniques. Creating a flowing session of guided and sometimes facilitated movements with a focus on breathing.
We can decide together whether you would benefit from a “one off” assessment and home program or a more ongoing rehabilitative burst over a 6 or 8 week period
Soft Tissue Mobilization with Fascial Fulcrum Techniques: for the orthopedic and neurologic patient.
A developmental Manual Therapy Technique: entails treatment directed towards the correction of structural and functional components, a branch of osteopathic manual therapy, based on the fact that structure dictates function.
MFR can enhance a more traditional physiotherapy approach. It is a very gentle bunch of hands on techniques used to unwind the connective tissue in the body and promote healing from a structural and energetic level.
